WE CREATE ADVENTURE FILMS FOR OUTDOOR BRANDS
Exploring New Zealand
Last month we partnered with Aroha Luxury New Zealand Tour company to visit New Zealand and to explore its best corners. We drove 5000 km with kids and tons of video equipment to capture the beauty and uniqueness of Maori land in this short promo movie. Hope you enjoy!
Coffee plantation in Costa Rica
During our recent travel to Costa Rica we had an unique opportunity to stay in a truly eco-friendly coffee plantation resort Finca Rosa Blanca. This place is recognized by National Geographic as one of the few “Unique Lodges of the World”. Terri and Glenn Jampol, the owners of the plantation, have created an authentic Costa Rican experience of coffee, art, local people, flavors, culture and nature, which together form the essence of this place. We must admit it was quite a challenge to convey the story and philosophy of this special place in a video just a few minutes long.
Maori Land at its best!
This video is a result of collaboration with Bespoke Kiwi – an adventure company specializing in luxury tours in New Zealand. Thanks to them we were able to experience unbelievable amount of adventures ranging from thrilling jet boats, wild river rafting to visiting Maori culture center and cruising through magical fiords in Fiordland National Park. This short video captures the essence of adventure in Maori Land.
Retaruke Country Estate
During our most recent visit to New Zealand we had enormous pleasure of spending several days in undoubtedly one of the most luxurious and stylish lodges this country can offer – Retaruke Country Estate. Tucked in the lush-green mountains of North Island, this uniquely designed lodge blends seamlessly into surrounding mountain ecosystem and offers total seclusion and peace. Just imagine waking up into the sounds of nature mixed with fresh, gentle breeze cascading from the hills...
Adventure in Iceland
In 2017 we visited Iceland for the first time, thinking it would be a one-time adventure. Well… it wasn’t. In 2018 we went there two more times, and now we are thinking about going back again. During the recent trip we created a short promotional movie for the top Icelandic adventure company When In Iceland. This company sponsored us on several adventure trips like glacier walking and iceberg kayaking. We had lots of fun collecting the video footage, meeting great people and exploring EYLENDA once again.
Discovering Faroe Islands
In 2018, we spent one week on the Faroe Islands shooting a promotional video for a local travel company, MM tours. It was an awesome adventure and even greater collaboration with Mikkjal and Magnus, founders and owners of the travel company. In exchange for the movie clip we produced for them, they provided us a place to sleep, a car to explore the islands and ... a roasted seagull. That was one of the best travel experiences we have ever had. With Magnus as our local guide, we filmed the best-kept secret places on the islands, interacted with local people and tasted foods of the Vikings. If you ever plan to visit the Faroe Islands, make sure to contact Mikkjal and Magnus. You will experience Faroe at its best!
During the summer of 2017, we visited Iceland for the first time. We had two weeks to explore the whole country but we quickly realized that two weeks was only enough time to sample the major highlights of the country. So how was it? Was the sky grey? Yes, most of the time. Drizzly? Oh yes. Chilly and foggy? Yep. But that is the essence of Iceland: the ever-moist air, moss-covered volcanic mountains, ash-covered glaciers with icebergs cracking away, spectacular waterfalls, rivers and omnipresent Icelandic horses. This place is all about open spaces and huge perspectives, and it draws you back again once you taste it.
Winter escape to "Little England"
It was so great to visit this sunny island in the middle of our cold, winter time. It was a weird feeling to land on tropical Barbados with winter jackets on. We were so lucky to stay with a local family on their farm overlooking the ocean, far away from the crowded hotel resorts. We spent every day on a different beach, but every evening at the same local fish market, enjoying freshly caught flying fish with a sip of probably the best rum - that alone was worth the trip!
The Sunshine State
In the winter of 2018, we spent a few days in Cayo Costa State Park - a small Florida island with primitive campgrounds, empty beaches and lots of biking paths. The Christmas Eve we spent there was magical! We sang carols while sitting around a bonfire and watching the stars. From Cayo Costa, we traveled to Everglades National Park, where we were submersed in unbelievable nature. This park is a must, with places to wander through endless mangroves and marsh grasses while quietly watching wildlife in their natural habitat. The Everglades is simply a wildlife lesson at its best!
Pura Vida! Costa Rica
The tropical land of Costa Rica was on our radar for quite some time, so we were extremely happy once we've got an invitation to stay in the unique tree houses in the heart of Costa Rican rainforest. This entire trip was a very special experience for us - the lush canopies of rainforest with abundance of exotic wildlife - monkeys, sloths, colorful frogs and snakes and unbelievable amounts of colorful birds. If you are thinking to visit Costa Rica, definitely put on your list the night-walk through the rainforest, visit to hanging bridges and famous zip-lines. And of course try freshly brewed Costa Rican coffee.
In the shadow of eagle
The Alps are one of the most spectacular mountain ranges and our favorite hiking place. For several years, we were very fortunate to have lived in Tuebingen, just two hours’ drive from the German Alps, where we hiked during every free weekend. This short movie was made during a one-week hiking trip through the Austrian Alps. We completed one section of the famous 413-km long Adlerweg (Eagle Walk).
We visited the Smoky Mountains in North Carolina during the summer of 2016. These mountains live up to their name, with mystic fogs passing through the green and lush mountains almost every morning and evening. Truly spectacular! We hiked a tiny bit of the epic Appalachian Trail that explores some of the most beautiful vistas on the East Coast. Hopefully, one day we will be brave enough to walk the entire trail.
