Welcome to our website! Here you can find some short movies that we have created during our travels. Stories of beautiful, inspiring places we had the privilege to experience, places where we met fantastic people. We hope that our movies will inspire you to visit these corners of the world. It is truly worth it! Sit back, relax and enjoy…make sure to expand the video to full screen and turn up your speakers.

Coffee plantation Fica Rosa Blanca in  Costa Rica

In the winter of 2018, we traveled to Costa Rica, which has become a very special place for us. Thanks to Terri and Glenn Jampol, the owners of Finca Rosa Blanca coffee plantation, we had the unique opportunity to stay in a truly sustainable and eco-friendly resort, where we created a short video reflecting what this place is all about. The plantation sits between lush hills of banana and avocado trees, which, together with natural wildlife, allows for sustainable coffee farming. This place is the creation and dream project of three generations of the Jampol family and is recognized by National Geographic as one of the few “Unique Lodges of the World”. Terri and Glenn have created an authentic Costa Rican experience of coffee, art, local people, flavors, culture and nature, which together form the essence of this place.  We must admit it was quite a challenge to convey the story and philosophy of this special place in a video just a few minutes long. The movie we created is meant to give you a flavor of this truly unique place.

Video for Icelandic adventure company

In 2017 we visited Iceland for the first time, thinking it would be a one-time adventure. Well… it wasn’t. In 2018 we went there two more times, and now we are thinking about going back again during the winter time to see northern lights. During the 2018 trip we created a short promotional movie for one of the top Icelandic adventure companies, When In Iceland. This company sponsored us on several adventure trips like glacier walking and iceberg kayaking. We had lots of fun collecting the video footage, meeting great people and exploring Iceland once again, but this time from a very different perspective. We hope that with this movie we will inspire you to visit EYLENDA.

Video for Faroese travel company

During the summer of 2018, we spent one week on the Faroe Islands shooting a promotional video clip for a local travel company, MM tours. It was an awesome adventure and even greater collaboration with Mikkjal and Magnus, founders and owners of the travel company. In exchange for the movie clip we produced for them, they provided us a place to sleep, a car to explore the islands and ... a roasted seagull. That was one of the best travel experiences we have ever had. With Magnus as our local guide, we filmed the best-kept secret places on the islands, interacted with local people and tasted foods of the Vikings. If you ever plan to visit the Faroe Islands, make sure to contact Mikkjal and Magnus. You will experience Faroe at its best!

Our Iceland

During the summer of 2017, we visited Iceland for the first time. We had two weeks to drive around the whole of Iceland and explore as much as possible, but we quickly realized that two weeks was barely enough time to see the major highlights of just the southern part of the country. After this trip, we could say: Iceland was phenomenal! Was the sky grey? Yes, most of the time. Drizzly? Oh yes. Chilly and foggy? Yep. But that is the essence of Iceland:  the ever-moist air, moss-covered volcanic mountains, ash-covered glaciers with icebergs cracking away, spectacular waterfalls, rivers and omnipresent Icelandic horses. This place is all about open spaces and huge perspectives, and it draws you back again once you taste it

Winter escape to Barbados

Woohoo! BARBADOS! It was so great to visit this sunny island in the middle of our cold, winter time. It was a weird feeling to land on Barbados with winter jackets on, traveling from snowy Canada. We were so lucky to stay with a local family on their farm overlooking the ocean, far away from the crowded hotel resorts. We spent every day on a different beach, but every evening at the same local fish market, enjoying freshly caught flying fish with a sip of probably the best rum - that alone was worth the trip! We hope we captured the essence of Barbados in the short movie above. Enjoy!

The Sunshine State

In the winter of 2018, we took a family trip to Florida. We spent a few days in Cayo Costa State Park - a small island with primitive campgrounds, empty beaches and lots of biking paths. The Christmas Eve we spent there was magical! We sang carols while sitting around a bonfire and watching the stars. From Cayo Costa, we traveled to Everglades National Park, where we were submersed in unbelievable nature. This park is a must, with places to wander through endless mangroves and marsh grasses while quietly watching wildlife in their natural habitat. The Everglades is simply a wildlife lesson at its best!

Wild Costa Rica

Pura Vida! Costa of the tiny countries keeping South and North Americas connected. This tropical land was on our radar for quite some time, so we were extremely happy once we got an opportunity to go there in fall of 2018. We were invited to stay in beautiful coffee plantation Finca Rosa Blanca near San Jose and unique Tree Houses Hotel settled in the heart of Costa Rican rainforest.  This entire trip was a very special experience for us, we tasted true Latin America culture and nature. The lush canopies of rainforest with abundance of exotic (at least for us) wildlife…monkeys, sloths, colorful frogs and snakes and unbelievable amounts of colorful birds. All this paradise set up on the hills between two oceans. If you are thinking to visit Costa Rica, definitely put on your list the night-walk through the rainforest, visit to hanging bridges, famous Costa Ricans zip-lines and one more thing…try incredible variety of local, freshly picked fruits which you can buy literally on every corner!

In the shadow of eagle

The Alps are one of the most spectacular mountain ranges and our favorite hiking place. For several years, we were very fortunate to have lived in Tuebingen, just two hours’ drive from the German Alps, where we hiked during every free weekend. This short movie was made during a one-week hiking trip through the Austrian Alps. We completed one section of the famous 413-km long Adlerweg (Eagle Walk).

Smoky Mountains

We visited the Smoky Mountains in North Carolina during the summer of 2016. These mountains live up to their name, with mystic fogs passing through the green and lush mountains almost every morning and evening. Truly spectacular! We hiked a tiny bit of the epic Appalachian Trail that explores some of the most beautiful vistas on the East Coast. Hopefully, one day we will be brave enough to walk the entire trail.

Backpack for photographers

We filmed this short Lowepro backpack video while vacationing on Barbados. For us this backpack is an essential part of every trip. It’s very functional, reliable and compact, and it can hold most of our equipment. The size is just right for carry-on luggage, so we don’t have to pay extra for it while flying. We highly recommend it!
