Landscape photography in the Golden State

If you are looking to visit one state that has the most diverse landscape for photography, you should probably start with the Golden State. Because of its unique geographic location, environment in California spans from very hot desert to subarctic and everything in between. If you plan it well, in short window of time you can photograph wild pacific coast line, magnificent sequoias, spectacular mountains and the longest-lived life forms on our planet, the Bristlecone pines.
